I recently ordered four beer glasses from a place on the Internet. They arrived in a 3′x2′x2′ box with another slightly smaller box inside. The glasses were packaged with 4 layers of bubble wrap each and enclosed within 2 billion packing peanuts. Other examples of over packaging are here.
