Rugby Union is not AFL but a completely different game. Like calling American football Ice hockey. Also the All Blacks come from New Zealand and not Australia, like saying the New York Yankees come from Italy. Have a look on you tube at AFL and Rugby Union and see the difference. There is also Rugby League.

I’m being schooled again. I’ve been chided for calling Aussie Rules Football, Rugby.

From that I assumed, double pole goal posts are Rugby and it’s European. Triple goal posts is Aussie Rules and, obviously is Australian.

Rugby Union is a new one on me. I did cite that the All Blacks were from New Zealand but my mistake was referencing Aussie Rules when there was no mention of it in the video description. Now I have to be careful.

One of these days I’ll take the 22 hour flight from Chicago to Sydney, look you up, and buy you a beer or three. Thanks, mate.

Ha ha, Roy beat me to it. Rugby is the parent game to American Football, Rugby League and Rugby Union (modern rugby). It is played in the Olympics now too (though only in a 7 person variant).
