    Sure, anybody can do it with the right tools, under a roof with walls…

    Tsk, they honed the cylinders without a deck plate, sometimes known as a honing plate. Now, when the heads are installed and torqued down, the bores will be distorted into a slightly pentagonal shape, compromising ring sealing.

    Which just goes to show you, despite a clean, well-lit shop with scads of expensive tools, a rebuild can still be half-assed!
