Sinkhole at the Corvette Museum

Screen Shot 2014-02-12 at 10.51.32 PMBy now you’ve probably heard about the sinkhole that opened up under the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky which swallowed 8 classic Vettes. Rather than showing you the aftermath here, I’d like to direct you to the Autoblog that has the security cam videos plus a couple of quadrotor shots of the aftermath.

One Response to Sinkhole at the Corvette Museum

WOW. I passed by there an hour or so before it happened, on my way back from TN on I-65. I was wondering, as usual, if I would ever get there when the museum is open; it’s always in the middle of the night when I go by.

The museum is quite close to I-65 and the Skydome is a very visible, distinctive landmark.

Incidentally, the museum is open for business today except, obviously, the Skydome.
