Ford pulls two more plugs

Ford Motor Company has announced that the Lincoln Town Car and the Crown Victoria will cease production sometime next year. Stricter environmental issues are said to be the blame. Averaging about 16mpg each, these cars apparently can’t keep up with the standards set forth by the government. Police departments, taxi companies and livery services will have to look elsewhere for their wheels.

My heart sank when I read your headline, and reading the news story didn’t help. It’s a sad day when such a nice car has stopped production
