More than likely, you’ve seen Toyota’s Killer Heat Tundra commercial.
The making of this ad was almost a nightmare. Rather large scale construction, problems with the heat, and other unforeseen events made for a story which won’t soon be forgotten by those who worked on the project. Watch.




I was hoping they would show the stunt driver going down the spiral in reverse..
i was wondering the same thing Eric. earlier in the vid though they had the trailer on a crane. they may have just craned the truck down too.
In one of the opening scenes, you see the helicopter go by with the trailer underneath on a hook. That would obviously be the way the trailer comes down.
The truck, on the other hand, would more than likely have to be slowly driven back down in reverse.
When I posted the video, I too was disappointed in not knowing the whole story. But I figured that most of the story was better than not posting it at all.
