(Note: The pronouns, I and we are used interchangably within the following post. They denote the personal me with my thoughts, desires and ambitions, and the collective we, as a website compilation with your interests at heart.)
It’s been a while, hasn’t it? Here’s the latest on the skinny of info of the dirt all about SixPackTech in a legume encasement.
Readership has increased another mini-jump. About 500 folks on average come to visit these man-friendly confines each day based on a weekly average. The most popular posts seem to be the Wednesday Humpday Honeys. Personally, I can see certainly see why. Looks like we’ve struck a nerve with that idea. The nudity (which I was so worried about at first) is now a non-issue. It’s for the most part expected. We will continue on the same track as we have. Why fix it if it isn’t broken?
With the recent scare of the WordPress worm now gone by, I have made arrangements to receive database backups via email. They are coming regularly now, I just hope that I never have to use them for a restoration.
HostGator has been true to form. There have been no problems since the last site update and I’m really thankful that I chose them to host the site.
The Slinks are surprisingly popular. Each Sunday, posts of a more in-depth and longer viewing go up and people like ‘em. I think it makes for a more entertaining and relaxing experience since you’re most probably at home, recovering from Saturday night, viewing on your own computer.
But, to be perfectly honest, I’d like some new ideas for a car topic for the Auto Monday posts. Send an email or comment on a car style you’d like to see featured here. I could use some help.
On a more personal note, I have come to realize, at my age, how much of life I missed by choosing the paths I took in the past. I have wasted a lot of time. But now, today, I have so much to look forward to. To wit:
*I’m actually brewing my own beer with my wife, and she likes it. The last batch she and I brewed should be dynamite. She’s entertaining thoughts of brewing some root beer. Yep. I’ll be there as well.
*I’ve been to a homebrew club meeting and witnessed the passion that the others had about the craft and their recipes.
*I own, and ride a motorcycle in my stage of life. Hell, I admire myself for that. I regret not having done it sooner. My goal is to measure out the DMV’s maneuvering course so I can get my license and finally ride alone. I will replicate it in my driveway and practice on it. Why is slow speed maneuvering so important to the state?
*This website is a matter of heart to me. I’ve been putting up posts since July of 2007 and went on my own paid service in April of last year. I have no remorse and no regrets about what’s on SixPackTech. It has become my second life. A hobby with a passion. My weekly lifestyle prior to going to work is to post some quality content on the site. I have not lost interest and I still love doing this.
*This website, the whole idea of it… the theme, the videos, the babes, the beer, the HTML, the hosting and all the Internet stuff has changed my life.
*It would be nice to get more comments to posts, but I understand that time or environment may not allow them. (No registration required to comment.)
*Emails with links are great. I’ll feature them here if they fit in with the overall theme and style of the site.
*I’m still sitting on a stack of SPT stickers. Send me an email and get yours. My dime. Take a picture of it adhering to something and I’ll post in the sidebar.
Life is short and there are sooo many new experiences you can create for yourself. Why not start one now? Go out and chop down a tree. Learn some Spanish. Wipe your butt the other way. Boxers/briefs? Try the other one for a week.
But then again, you could just settle back in the cradle that we have provided right here, your daily visit to SixPackTech.com. We’ll have this talk again sometime real soon.
