The Mayan calendar, some say, mysteriously ends on December 21, 2012. Some also say that the date signifies the end of the world. Others have other theories. One in particular is Roland Emmerich, the guy who produced Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow. He is now behind the new movie scheduled to be released in November. The trailer shown is below.
It seems that the end of the world will caused by some cosmic anomaly which wreaks havoc on our planet, according to the movie. Plausible or not, the movie looks to be loaded with special effects and lots of destruction. And why not? It’s the end of the world.
