The very first maze I encountered was Day One, Freshman High School. Then there was Cranston Manor on the Apple II. Akalabeth, Wizardry, Doom, Doom II, the list goes on.
Every October some farmer would create a real live hay-bale maze, just in time for the Halloween season. Great fun or a scary time for all family members. Running a maze on paper or in a computer game is one thing. Hell, you can see it from the top. An aerial view. But what if you’re actually inside a maze?
