For the life of me, I just don’t understand why the necktie has been a fashion statement for so many, many years. It’s hard to tie, it gets in the way, it provides a choke point and a handle for anyone who confronts you and has the potential for getting caught in rotating machinery. The necktie is a health hazard and can be life threatening. Why do we still wear them?
For the 9 to 5ers and cubicle rats, it’s a job requirement. But for all us other blue collar schlubs, a necktie is worn only rarely and some of us tend to forget how they’re tied (you younger guys pay attention here.)
We’re always looking for an easier way to do things, such as the shirt folding machine we featured previously. Now here’s an instructional video on how to tie a tie before you even put it on.
