Other than the Chevy Corvette, no other car seems to capture our interest more than the Ford Mustang. From its inception in 1964 all the way up to the present day, the Mustang has lived and breathed among us. It has gone through five different styling generations and each time, the Mustang picks up new enthusiasts and loyal owners.
The Mustang created the “pony car” class of American automobile — sports car-like sedans with long hoods and short rear decks and gave rise to competitors such as GM’s Camaro, AMC’s Javelin, and Chrysler’s revamped Barracuda. It also inspired coupes such as the Toyota Celica and Ford Capri, which were exported to America.
Right on the other side of the jump we present a Mustang gallery from all 5 generations, in no particular order. Enjoy.
