A birthday for Ray Bradbury

Last Friday, Aug. 22nd, Ray Bradbury celebrated his 88th birthday. Mr. Bradbury is one of the world’s foremost science fiction writers whose name is usually mentioned in cojunction with Arthur C. Clarke and Isaac Asimov among others.

Bradbury wrote such classics as Fahrenheit 451, The Martian Chronicles and The Illustrated Man. His style of writing and plot developments have tickled the imaginations of millions of scifi fans.

Have a look at a commercial he made back in the ’60’s. Somehow today, it sorta fits right in.

Happy belated birthday, Ray.
