Great octopus escape

I once saw a photo of a mouse looking out from inside a pop can. Mice are flexible in that they can dislodge or dislocate bones in their bodies in order to fit in the tiniest of spaces.

So, how many bones does an octopus have? I’d say none. Just a mass of cartilage which can be molded and made to fit in small spaces as well. And then there’s that sac thing. What’s in that?

Check out the video below of an octopus enclosed in a plastic box with a one-inch escape hole. Houdini would be proud.
